Objectives

By the end of the practical session, students should be able to:

• Identify the categories of Internet resources
• Compare the different categories and purposes of Internet resources
• Set up a personal EIR Blog
• Blog about reflections on lessons learnt from this practical

Activity 1 (Individual)

1.   Based on the Portfolio brief, select a research topic from the list provided.

2.   Based on the research topic that you had selected, search the Internet for one each of the following Internet resources, using any search facility.

·         Blog

·         Magazine/journal

·         Discussion Forum
